Nashville CIEC

The Nashville CIEC was approved for reinstatement in November 2005. Originally started in the early 1980's by the four Nashville chapters (Alpha Nu, Alpha Psi, Beta, and Beta Upsilon), the Center was forced to close due to lack of space in the old Nashville Public Library.

Beta Upsilon chapter took on the project of reinstating the Center in the new downtown library facilty. The recently reinstated Center is located at the Nashville Public Library on Church Street. Emily Drake is the Children's Librarian at the Nashville Public Library and Susan Chambers is with the Friends of the Nashville Public Library. They are working together on the CIEC collection.

The new Nashville Public Library is the home of the Nashvile CIEC.
