Criteria
for Chapter Communications Award
Deadline
for qualifying: March 15
Submission
Requirements:
- An e-mail or hard copy of each newsletter must be sent to the Communications Chair or assigned communications committee member contact.
- The Communications Chair or assigned communications committee member contact MUST receive a copy of your submissions to Xi State News.
- If the Communications Chair or assigned communications committee member contact does not get a copy, your chapter does not get credit for submissions
to Xi State News. This will affect the type of Communication
Award that your chapter receives.
- Don't be disappointed,
send copies of all newsletters and Xi State News submissions
to the Communications Chair or assigned communications committee member contact.
Highest
Honor Award:
- At least five chapter newsletters in a year
- Two
or more submissions to Xi State News
- Quality content
areas in chapter news coverage
- President's
Message (must be in every issue)
- Information about next month's activities (must be in every issue)
- Preview of
chapter activities in every issue (must be in every issue)
- Information
on members such as accomplishments & awards (should be in every issue)
- Chapter accomplishments
(included in issues as appropriate)
- Legislative
updates (included in issues as appropriate)
- Educational
issues and concerns (included in issues as appropriate)
Honor Award:
- Three or more
chapter newsletters during a calendar year
- One submission
to Xi State News
- Quality content
areas in chapter news coverage
- President's
Message in every issue (must be in every issue)
- Information about next month's activities (must be in every issue)
- Preview of
chapter activities (must be in every issue)
- Information
on members such as accomplishments & awards (included in issues as appropriate)
Honorable
Mention:
- Two or more chapter
newsletters in a calendaryear

for Chapter Excellence Award - Newsletters Recognition
- Highest Honor
= 15 points
- Honor = 10 points
- Honorable Mention
= 5 points
