1.  NOMINATION OF CANDIDATES:  

The nomination of candidates for the Xi State Achievement Award may be made annually by members or by chapters. All recommendations must by typewritten on the form below and submitted to the Chairman of the Xi State Awards Committee by April 15 of each year.

2.  STANDARDS FOR ELIGIBILITY OF CANDIDATES

          a. Contributions to the program and progress of Delta Kappa Gamma at the state level shall be the prime factor to be considered.

          b. Consideration shall be given to service at the international level.

          c. Consideration may be given to outstanding contributions to education outside of Delta Kappa Gamma only when such activities further the purposes of Delta Kappa Gamma.

          d. Only one recipient of the Achievement Award may be selected annually, and no person may receive the award a second time.

          e. Adherence to moral principles should be evident through percept and practice in all professional, social, and civic activities of the nominee.

          f.  Nominees not selected one year may have their dossiers updated and be considered at another time.
