The 2009 Legislative Symposium was held in Nashville on February 11-12, 2009. Participants heard Dr. Jerry Winters from TEA speak on Tuesday evening. At the breakfast buffet on Wednesday morning, Dr. Connie Smith, Assistant Commission of Education, shared the latest news from the State Department of Education. After the buffet, participants made their way to the TN State Capitol to visit with their respective legislators.
