The Awards Luncheon was a fun, entertaining event as the Xi State Chorus serenaded the members and the Area Directors presented a skit. President Nancy Davis recognized several ladies who have 50+ years of membership in the Society. The 2009 Scholarship winners and Vision Foundation Award recipients were also announced. Vision Foundation Board Member Doris Ann Hendrix introduced individual and chapter Visionaries. Marilyn Ivey was recognized for her inspiration and influence in helping to establish the Vision Foundation; and Linda McCrary was honored for her dedication to the Society during several bienniums as outgoing state treasurer. Chapter Excellence Awards recognized the hard work of over 40 chapters across the state.
