Xi State (Tennessee) has a strong foundation of leaders spanning several decades. Thirteen past Xi State presidents and 17 past Achievement Award winners attended the 2009 convention. These women, along with the current Xi State officers, inspire, mentor, encourage, and challenge other "key women educators" across the state.

In addition, the 2008 Leadership Development Class gathered for a group picture. Almost every member of the Fall 2008 leadership class came to the 2009 convention!
