Purpose of Xi State Vision Foundation

Purpose:Logo

The Xi State Vision Foundation shall provide funds for members of Xi State (Tennessee), The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, to conduct educational research and to develop special projects related to the improvement of education, principally in Tennessee, and for the publication of the results of research and projects.

History:
The Xi State Vision Foundation was begun in 2000 when Xi State President Doris Ann Hendrix appointed Marilyn Ivey, Alpha Tau Chapter, to begin the investigation of the possibility of a Foundation for xi State. In 2002, the Xi State Executive Board approved the Rules and Bylaws pertaining to the Foundation, paving the way for the Foundation to receive the tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) non-profit status. The first stipends were awarded at the 2004 Xi State Convention.

How Do I Apply for Foundation Funds?
Application for Foundation Project Funds and/or the Liz Whorley Bradley Professional Growth Award must be submitted to the Xi State Foundation Board contact person by December 31. Application forms may be obtained online in the Forms Section of the website.
