Virtual Creative Arts Retreat

The Creative Arts Retreat will take place virtually via Zoom on September 19, from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (CST). We will have six sessions, ranging from books to tech to cooking. Explore some of the uncommon features of PowerPoint to make presentations that can be more understandable to your participants. This workshop will go into features that are seldom used to maintain consistency throughout your presentation. We will discuss, review, and demonstrate the use of fonts, background colors, size of presentation slides, animation, positioning of objects on slides, and more.

Henry C. Lawton, Jr. is a Professional Registered Parliamentarian who has used Microsoft PowerPoint since 2001. He has made many presentations using PowerPoint in a variety of environments: computer security seminars, religious organizations, and teaching mathematics to elementary school students.

A professional full-time comedian, author, speaker, and educator, Brad Tassell has proven he is not only hilarious, but smart, kind, useful, and the perfect performer for any group, any place, any time. His best-selling book Don't Feed the Bully is read by thousands of students each year and his comedy shows are a favorite on Carnival Cruise lines (when that is a thing). He has been seen on CMT, ESPN, MTV, and PBS. Brad uses his Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences to bring solution-based interventions, award-winning and hilarious educational keynotes on bullying prevention to schools, educators, and workshops.
